Termite online return policy

Termite online purchases may be returned within 30 days if received damaged or defective. Items should be returned in unopened or original condition, with a copy of the packing slip, to our distribution center. A refund of the price of the item and any applicable taxes will be issued in the original form of payment used to purchase the item. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive a refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase. Shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item is being returned because it is damaged or defective.

Instructions
Please follow the instructions below when packing and sending your product for return. It's important to note that the instructions below must be followed in order to allow us the opportunity to process your return.

•  Send the item in its original packaging.
•  Pack the item carefully so that it will not be damaged during the shipping process.
•  Include a copy of the packing slip. We will not be able to process a return for any shipment received without a packing slip.
•  Use a secure shipping method to send the item so that it can be tracked. For example, if you are sending it through the United States Postal Service, please send it via certified mail. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping, and cannot process your return until the item is received.
•  Unless a different return address is specified on your packing slip, all returns should be sent to the following address:

What is my total delivery time?

The delivery time for your order depends on the shipping method you select. We offer several different shipping methods. The choices available depend on...
1) The item(s) purchased
2) The in-stock availability of the product
3) The destination address

Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order, and are based upon a simple calculation of order processing time and actual shipping time in business days. Please note that business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays within the United States.

Calculating estimated shipping dates is based on several factors, including your destination address and how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for your shipment (the "usually ships within" time is listed on a product's detail page to help you gauge how quickly we can ship your order out).

To calculate your delivery estimate, simply take the time called out in the "Availability" section on the product detail page ("Usually leaves warehouse in..." or what we refer to as "Processing Time") and add the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address, based on the shipping method you've selected. Please note that orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a single item may take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.

To help you better understand the calculation here is an example!

You select an item that is listed as "usually ships within 2 -3 days", and you select Standard Ground as your shipping method... 2-3 days (processing time) + 5 - 7 days (shipping time) = 7 - 10 days (delivery period). Days are calculated on business days which are considered Monday through Friday and exclude Federal Holidays within the United States.

Note:
  • Orders received after 12:00 pm PST in the distribution system, will begin processing the following business day.
  • Delivery time for oversized items differ slightly from the above options. Please refer to our Oversized Items section for details!
  • Delivery Times for Pre-Order Items are based upon the manufacturer's release date. Please refer to our Delivery Date for Pre-Order Items for details!

How do I calculate my delivery date on pre-ordered items?

Pre-Order items are available for purchase on the Termite website in advance of the manufacturer's general public release date. Pre-Order items are shipped directly to you once the stated release date arrives and you will be notified of your order status via email. You will not be charged for any item until it is shipped to you. Expected shipment time for each item will be shown in your shopping cart. Please note, expected shipment times appearing et address.

How much will my shipping costs be?

At Checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Please note; some items can only be shipped standard ground. Shipping costs are determined by:
  1. The destination of your item(s)
  2. The shipping method you select.
Your total shipping will be calculated automatically during Checkout prior to the completion of your order. Shipping costs for orders are based on the total order weight. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount. This means your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual shipping charges appearing in your shopping cart. You will be provided with your order's actual total shipping cost during Checkout. How can I tell if an item is available?

If an item is available on our site, you will see a red "Add Item to Cart" box on the right hand side of the product detail page. You should also note the "Availability" section, just above the "Product Detail" section. You will be able to see if the item is "In-Stock", and how long it takes to leave the warehouse should you choose to purchase it.

If you do not see the red "Add Item to Cart" box, the item is temporarily out of stock and cannot be ordered at that time. The "Availability" section will also be hidden. You do have the option however to add an out of stock item to your Baby Registry or Wish List!

How are oversized items handled?

Some heavy or oddly shaped items must be shipped alone using a freight trucking company. Usually, oversized Items arrive in 7-14 full business days after leaving our warehouse. Business days are Monday thru Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Some larger and heavier items can only be sent via ground freight, and it's important to note that the freight trucking company is not responsible for unloading the item from the truck, or carrying the item inside. Since the item is likely to be heavy and large, we recommend that you have someone with you to help you unload the item. If you are sending this item as a gift, please include the recipient's phone number so the recipient can be contacted in the event the delivery needs to be scheduled.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

No. You can have up to 5 different addresses in your account information, but you can only use one per order.

How can I get my items to arrive faster?

For most items, you will be given the option of selecting 1 of 3 different shipping options:
  • Standard ground
  • Second Day
  • Next Day
All you need to do is click the delivery method that best suits your needs! It's important to note that you still need to calculate the "Order Processing Time" when determining the total delivery time. For details on the calculation, please click here.

Can I change the speed of delivery after I have placed my order?

At this time, no changes can be made to an order once it has been submitted. In order to select the appropriate delivery time for your needs, please refer to Estimating Delivery Time.

If I request one-day shipping, will I get my order the next day?

It depends... Your order needs to be placed and dropped into our warehouse system prior to 12:00 pm EST in order for it to ship the same day. It usually takes several hours for your order to drop into the warehouse system, so a good rule of thumb is to allow at least 2 hours for that to occur. If you miss this timeline, your order will be processed that day but will not ship out until the next business day. Also, please note that there is no weekend pick-ups or deliveries so you'll need to take that into consideration as well.

Are there any rules and restrictions I should know about?

Please be aware of the following in order to assist you with your shipping selections and needs:
  • Orders are shipped on business days only (Monday through Friday) excluding federal holidays within the United States.
  • Your order must be received and your credit card authorized by 12:00 p.m. (noon) PST or your order will not be processed until the following business day. This applies to all shipping methods, including Next Day delivery.
  • Second Day and Next Day orders require a street address.
  • Items shipped to the following destinations may only be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service and cannot be expedited:
    • PO Boxes in Continental US
    • PO Boxes in Alaska and Hawaii
    • APO/FPO
    • US Territories (including Puerto Rico)
Please allow for additional shipping and handling time for all oversized products shipping via a freight trucking company. These products cannot be expedited. Get more details about the delivery of your oversized products.

How do I track my order?

Easy! Tracking numbers are assigned to packages at our warehouse almost immediately, and generally appear on our website along with your order information. It is possible that it may take up to 48 hours or longer before the package is checked into the carrier's tracking system. This basically means that even though your package has left our warehouse, the carrier may not be able to provide any information about your package for up to 48 hours or more.

Orders placed on the TermiteSkateboards.com website may be delivered by one of several different carriers and shipping methods, therefore, tracking availability may vary depending on:

1) The type of product you purchased
2) The shipping method you selected during Checkout
3) The carrier that is delivering your product(s)

Occasionally, orders are delivered via a carrier that does not offer the ability to track a package. In these rare instances, "Order Status/Tracking" on the TermiteSkateboards.com website will not offer tracking information, but will still offer order status and other details.

How is order status different from tracking information?

Your order status is supplied by Termite, and represents what is happening with your order between the time you place it and the time it ships from our warehouse. Once your order leaves our warehouse, it is handled by a carrier (such as FedEx, USPS or UPS) that may provide Tracking Information which will allow you to keep track of your order from the time it leaves our warehouse to the time it reaches its destination*. The tracking information is accessible from "Your Order History" on our website when it becomes available.

*Carrier-provided tracking information may not be available for up to 48 hours after a product is shipped from our warehouse.
